ROAR Performing Arts Academy is only one of its kind on the Redcliffe Peninsula, and offers affordable, high quality training to youth under eighteen years. ROAR was created in October 2011 to foster and develop talent in the performing arts, including acting, singing and dancing. We cater for youth upwards of five years, with classes specifically designed to their age and performance abilities.
Senior ROAR students have achieved great success various eisteddfods. Our Vocal Troupe has taken out three first places, one second place, three third places and several highly commended in the past. Similarly our Drama Troupe have had great success at both the Murrumba Drama Festival and the Sunshine Coast Festival in 2014 and 2015.
Our students regularly perform at local festivals and community events such as Kitefest, the Redcliffe Festival and the Give A Child A Chance charity dinner. We are always looking for further opportunities for our youth to participate in, so please contact us with any suggestions or offers, and don't forget to like us on Facebook!
