Junior Theatre Celebration flier, ft. ROAR Academy

We are thrilled to announce that ROAR Academy will be sending a team to the Junior Theatre Celebration in Newcastle again this year.
This year, ROAR Academy will present a 10 minute segment from Pirates of Penzanc. The team of 25 students range in age from 10years to 18 years and will be supported by a team of teachers, chaperones and accompanying parents.
We also have the honour of 4 of our students, Alex Kuchmenko, Ashley Prosser, Matthew Bapty and Alice Simpson, who have been selected out of many applicants to take part in the 'Newsies' workshop. The four performers will travel to Newcastle in October to take part in an exclusive workshop with Broadway professionals, turning 'Newsies' into a junior production. It is an incredible honour for all four student nominations to be chosen for this opportunity and is a credit to their talents and training. These student will be accompanied by Principal, Madeleine Johns, who has been invited to learn from Broadway Professionals, putting together a youth musical.
